ABOUT ME

I am a dedicated student from Boston, MA and currently attend Commonwealth School. I am passionate about finance, economics, math, education, and literacy. I volunteered for Language Virtual, where I tutored international children in English, and the Prison Book Program, where I helped mail books to incarcerated people, and Dive In, where I tutor math for underprivileged middle schoolers at Commonwealth. Because of my passions, I started a financial literacy podcast to help educate people about finance and why it is so important.

I have loved math and puzzles ever since I was a kid, because of the way I have to turn my brain upside down to solve problems. I love to do legos without instructions, crosswords, and the New York Times spelling bee in my spare time. I participate in the Math Team, competing in competitions such as the AMC and HMMT. I also love Latin for the same reason; each sentence is a new puzzle to solve and put together. I am on the Certamen team for our school as well. I love finance because it is an ever-evolving puzzle, with markets constantly shifting, which forces you to continually adapt your approach.

I also watch Formula 1 because of how engineering, finance, fashion, and high-speed racing combine to create the multi-faceted puzzle of the sport. I also love to make and collect art, which is why I bullet journal to see my life through my artistic lens. I am emotionally attached to my headphones, and I listen to many different genres of music, such as jazz, blues, K-pop, rock, EDM, RnB, and Indian classical music. I play the piano to experiment with music, using chord theory to play different variations of songs that I love.
